In order of priority during an alarm, and from most accurate to least accurate:
GPS (Satellites) -> WiFi tracking (triangulation using nearby WiFi routers) -> GSM (Cellular Tower Triangulation)
In order of priority during regular ping update (with regular update with location setting turned ON) - this is to conserve battery life when there is no alarm and only regular pings, GPS tracking consumes the most battery life.
WiFi tracking (triangulation using nearby WiFi routers) -> GPS (Satellites) -> GSM (Cellular Tower Triangulation)
