If your Monimoto is moved and you are nearby with the Key Fob, then it will not alarm.
If your Monimoto is moved and you are away and the Key Fob is not nearby (someone else is moving your vehicle) then it alarms and calls you and begins sending locations.
If your Monimoto is not moved it does not alarm.
To test an alarm:
Leave the Key Fob at home, turn off Bluetooth on your phone/close the Monimoto App, then take your Monimoto for a ride at least 50m away from the Key Fob for 10-15 min. it should alarm and call you/send notifications then send a location within 5 minutes of the alarm being activated.
