Cellular location is an approximate location that you can get if the device is not able to get precise GPS coordinates. Why do you get an approximate cellular coordinate?

There can be a couple of reasons:

  • Your vehicle is in an underground parking, garage or any other enclosed space. Roofs, walls, other objects interfere with the GPS signal and the device is not able to communicate with GPS satellites, so you are receiving an approximate cellular location.
  • -The front part of your Monimoto 7 is touching a metal part of your motorcycle or facing down. If the device is not installed properly, it might not be able to receive GPS location. That is why we encourage to always make a test after it is adhered to the vehicle.
  • -The very top part of your Monimoto (MM1-MM6) is touching a metal part of your motorcycle or the end with GPS letters is not pointing up. If the device is not installed properly, it might not be able to receive GPS location. That is why we encourage to always make a test after it is adhered to the vehicle.
